JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Overview:

The Community Development Director leads the Community Development Department, overseeing city planning, building safety, code enforcement, redevelopment, and economic development to support municipal goals. This role involves ensuring compliance with laws and managing staff, while engaging with stakeholders like local officials, residents, and businesses. The Director collaborates with the City Manager and City Council to align strategies with the City's mission.

Key Responsibilities:
