Ideally situated with the Cascade mountains to the east, Puget Sound to the west, and the Snohomish River and Ebey Slough to the south, Marysville offers unparalleled access to natural beauty and year-round outdoor recreation. Despite its rapid growth, the city retains its small-town charm while benefiting from proximity to major economic hubs such as the Port of Everett and Boeing Field. For 2025, the City operates with a $213 million budget and a dedicated team of 389 full-time employees. Mayor Jon Nehring has served in this role since 2010, providing steady and experienced leadership.
