Senior Planner – City of Grand Junction
Hiring Range: $6,798.70–$7,651.18 monthly
Bonus: New hires receive 40 hours of paid time off upon hire
The City of Grand Junction is seeking a Senior Planner to perform advanced professional planning duties supporting the City's Community Development program. This role involves developing, implementing, and updating City plans and regulations while providing high-quality customer service to City staff, the public, and development professionals.
Key Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing land use applications for zoning and regulatory compliance; preparing staff reports, resolutions, and ordinances; serving as staff liaison to boards and commissions; and supporting updates to the Comprehensive Plan and other adopted policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Three years of progressively responsible urban planning experience and a bachelo's degree in planning or a related field (or equivalent combination).
