Planner I: This position is the entry-level of the Planner job series. Employees work under close supervision and are responsible for assignments requiring the application of professional/technical knowledge, exercise of some independent judgment to work on planning projects within defined limits and scope. As experience is gained, there is greater independence of action within established guidelines.
Planner II: This position is the journey-level of the Planner job series. Employees work more independently and perform professional planning assignments with limited supervision. This position may provide assistance to lower-level planners and may make presentations to internal and external groups and have decision making authorities.
Planner I / Planner II Recruitment
This recruitment is being conducted to fill one position, which may be appointed at either the Planner I or Planner II level depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
