Our work in mobility, water, sustainability, redevelopment, and innovation has earned national recognition, and we are looking for a Director of Growth Management who will help us continue that progress. This position plays a central role in how our city grows, moves, redevelops, and evolves. The Director will guide comprehensive planning, mobility strategy, redevelopment work, zoning, economic development activity, and long-range land use planning. They will lead an experienced team of planners and development professionals and work directly with the City Manager.

We want someone with a strong command of planning, development review, and economic development. Someone who can work through complex issues and offer clear and practical solutions. Someone who can lead major projects, negotiate development agreements, present to boards, and collaborate across departments. Someone who can lead and participate in innovation projects and programs at the Altamonte Global Innovation Lab.

We also value leaders who understand the importance of modern tools, including AI, automation, digital twins, and advanced analytics.
