The Pueblo Urban Renewal Authority (PURA) is seeking our next Executive Director — a leader ready to guide our organization through an important and exciting era of community investment and redevelopment.

For more than 40 years, PURA has worked alongside the City of Pueblo, local businesses, and community partners to support neighborhood reinvestment, economic growth, and strategic revitalization using tools like Tax Increment Financing (TIF), redevelopment law, and public-private partnerships.

Now, as we look ahead, we are searching for a visionary and collaborative professional who is passionate about community impact and long-term progress.

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in planning, community development, or redevelopment
• Demonstrated knowledge of TIF, land use, zoning, and municipal processes
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage long-term, large-scale initiatives
• Experience developing strategy, leading teams, and driving organizational direction
• A commitment to community-focused solutions and partnership building
