Senior Marketing and Communication Specialist

Salary/Pay Rate $89,871 – $96,611/year

Under the general direction of the City Manager and Deputy City Manager, plans, develops, implements, and evaluates citywide communication strategies to enhance public engagement, maintain brand consistency, and support organizational goals. Serves as a key liaison for media, community outreach, digital platforms, and internal coordination, ensuring timely, accurate, and effective messaging aligned with City Council and City Manager priorities.

Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Graphic Design or related field and at least five years of related work experience in media relations, public relations or journalism, preferably in a governmental environment.
