Solar Energy

The town's zoning regulations permits accessory rooftop and freestanding solar energy systems by right in all districts, subject to standards addressing height and placement. Primary-use freestanding systems are permitted as special uses in any district (§8.15).

It also provides standards for senior housing that require dwellings to utilize a solar orientation wherever possible (§52.7.10.e).
