Solar Energy

The city's municipal code provides solar access protections for dwelling units in business districts. It includes solar rights provisions for dwelling unit sites within the B-2 and B-3 zoning districts; structures more than 26 feet in height are restricted by 45 degree angle planes protecting solar access for adjacent lots (§12-4H-7.G.2, §12-4I-6.F.2).
