Solar Energy

The town's building regulations outline a "Residential Solar Readiness Ordinance". It allows for solar installation on all new single-family and duplex residential dwelling units and includes requirements, which can be waived or modified if compliance is impractical due to such issues as shading, building orientation, construction constraints, or configuration of the parcel (§150.04).
