Solar Energy

This guide provides design standards and guidelines for rooftop solar installations within the historic district. It acknowledges the importance of historic preservation and energy conservation and includes both design standards and guidelines to ensure compatibility for additions or alterations (§3.2.h) as well as new construction (§3.3.h) involving rooftop solar installations. The guidelines are applied in the Historic Preservation chapter of the city's municipal code (§18.58).
