Solar Energy

The town's zoning ordinance permits accessory rooftop and ground-mounted solar energy systems in all districts subject to specific standards addressing location, height, coverage, and the removal of decommissioned systems (Sec. 270-219.1).

The town's subdivision ordinance stipulates that the planning board may require solar oriented streets and lots (Sec. 234-25).
