Solar Energy

The city's subdivision regulations allow for variation in side lot line angles from street lines for purposes of solar orientation; lot lines may run within 20 degree east or west from due north to due south, and layout and building setbacks must be oriented with their long axis running east-west, with possible 20 degree variations to the southwest or southeast (§11-7-4).
