Solar Energy

The city's zoning code permits solar panels and other alternative energy systems in all zoning districts subject to standards; ground-mounted systems must be located in rear yards and screened, and roof-mounted systems should not be visible from the public ROW. Energy generation is limited to onsite use (Sec. 1151.14.f). A zoning permit is required.
