The town's comprehensive plan includes a section on alternative energy and energy conservation which sets several specific planning goals for the next 5 years, including the creation of bylaws to regulate solar panels and other alternative energy structures and reviewing and updating all publications relative to construction and development that deal with alternative energy sources (pp. 80-81).
