Solar Energy

The city's zoning ordinance allows solar energy devices in all zones as either a part of a structure or an independent stucture. Variances are granted when necessary to assure unobstructed access to direct sunlight; they will not be granted if if it would cause unreasonable obstruction of direct sunlight to neighboring properties (Sec. 22.03.009).
