Solar Energy

Goal 5-5 of the Natural Resources Element of the Comprehensive Plan is to promote energy and resource conservation. Objective 5-5A is to enact policies and programs and support technologies that reduce energy consumption, improve energy efficiency, and promote renewable energy sources to foster a more sustainable economy and cleaner enviroment. Implemementation Strategy 3 is to promote state incentive programs that support solar incentives like Solar Energy Tax Credits (pg. V-49).
