Solar Energy

In the city's General Plan, the Public Facilities and Services Element includes a Utilities implementing policy of developing a Green Building Policy, which may require new residential development to be pre-wired for optional PV roof systems or solar hot water heating (PFS-62), along with incentivizing retrofits of existing structures for passive solar devices (PFS-64).
