Food Systems

This regional food systems plan offers a series of visionary goal statements based on six core values–farming and sustainable agriculture, ecological stewardship and conservation, economic development, health, fairness, and collaboration. It examines two indicators for each of the first five core values, and details a wide range of recommendations that address policy reforms, expansions of existing efforts, and new approaches and innovations. Short case studies throughout illustrate best practices.
