Accessory Dwelling Units
This city’s code allows for accessory dwelling units to be added to a single-family dwelling(§11-06-03.1.A). It provides requirements for size (§11-06-03.1.A(1)), creation method (§11-06-03.1.A(2)), design (§11-06-03.1.A(4)), parking requirements (§11-06-03.1.A(5)) and more.
Food Systems | Food Trucks
The city’s business regulations code addresses mobile vending vehicles (§5-12), primarily licensing, permitted operation locations on public property, and hours of operation.
Green Building
The city’s municipal code provides both a green construction code and an energy conservation code. The green construction code aligns with the International Green Construction Code (IGCC) with additional amendments (§9-13-2); it also lists the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and Green Globes certification systems as alternatives that meet or exceed the city’s code (§9-13-19). The energy conservation code aligns with the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) with additional amendments (§9-9-2).
Small Wireless Facilities and Wireless Facilities in the ROW
The city's zoning code allows Microcell Wireless Communication Facilities in all districts subject to use-specific standards (Table 11-06.1). The code lists five conditions addressing location and equipment size that must be met in order for installations of microcell facilities to be permitted with administrative-level review (§11-06-04.2.A.5). The code defines microcell facilities (§11-012-02.2.H.3).
