Shared Mobility

The city’s codified ordinance contains regulations that shared mobility providers must comply with to operate within the jurisdiction. It presents safety and operational standards for micromobility devices and for-hire vehicles (§25.02), limits to twelve (12) the number of hours that drivers or operators can drive or operate for-hire vehicles (§25.15), and the license requirements for shared mobility devices (§25.19).

The city's animal code allows beekeeping in all nonresidential districts and RS-2 districts within the city (§8.61). It sets standards for urban beekeeping that address bee colony density, setbacks, water source, hive design. An annual permit must be obtained from the city forester.
