Food Systems | Urban Agriculture

This standalone policy addresses community gardens in San Francisco, CA. Its goal is to provide equal public access to all gardens through a uniform framework that allows for flexibility in management for each garden. Different sections address garden elements, organization structure, city ordinances and municipal codes, and citywide support and interdepartmental coordination. The appendix provides a model of community garden agreements, community garden task list, access strategies, and other support information.
