The county’s subdivision ordinance addresses agricultural protections for farmland (§99-6.G). For new subdivision development within 300 feet of land used for agriculture, notification of right-to-farm  provisions prohibiting complaints about agricultural uses is required in deed restrictions and lease or sale agreements, and no residential occupancy uses may be located within 50 feet of a boundary with agricultural land.
