Creative Placemaking: How to Do It Well

This article focuses on strategies to engage in quality creative placemaking initiatives. It emphasizes the importance of cross-sector partnerships, community distinctiveness, private sector buy-in, and community development banks in supporting creative placemaking initiatives. Finally, it reviews methods of evaluating creative placemaking outcomes and provides further considerations related creative placemaking, including focusing on how arts and culture intrinsically contribute to communities and emphasizing the importance of equity.
