Solar Energy

This report presents approaches to meeting renewable energy needs and preserving heritage through solar development on historic buildings. There is untapped potential in energy savings and carbon footprint reduction in the collaboration between solar and historic preservation communities. In addition to providing a general overview of historic preservation and solar PV technology, the report outlines a process for implementing solar PV on historic buildings.
