Social Equity

This report considers how involved immigrants are in local civic life in California’s immigrant destination cities. It finds that local governments still have a long way to go in proactively serving this community, especially on the issues of housing and policing, and identifies actions city governments can take to facilitate immigrant incorporation into public decision-making processes.
