This article looks into where traditional urban agriculture and digital urban agriculture converge and diverge from one another as it relates to gentrification and inequitable land-use patterns. Some of the findings suggest that both practices are associated with an increased risk of gentrification and issues of governance. It also observes that the main divergence in traditional and digital urban agriculture centers on zoning and how the practices receive different treatment on land-use restrictions.
