This report provides information to help decision-makers better understand the autonomous vehicle (AV) transportation revolution and implement policies to accommodate this technology. It also offers recommendations on actions to help prepare future AV policy, such as fostering mobility as a service (MaaS), managing and reducing congestion, and rethinking curb space and street space allocation.
