Scenario Planning

This page highlights the use of scenario planning in developing a preferred scenario for how the community wants Indianapolis, Indiana, to grow in the next 30 years. A base scenario was created by combining all land use maps and then developing three more scenarios. The community and other stakeholders gave feedback on the scenarios and a preferred scenario was made. This preferred scenario will be referenced in future plans.
