By design, zoning code reforms support pedestrian-oriented land use and development. This presentation will present new data on how zoning code reforms have evolved nationwide (>3000 jurisdictions) over the past decade to support physical activity (particularly walking and biking). Presenters offer nationwide data on the last decade of zoning code reforms to support physical activity, demonstrating how reforms may moderate the relationships between a population's sociodemographic characteristics, active travel, and recreational physical activity.
