Training Topics for Planning Officials
We recommend starting with the Essential Skills video presentations then moving on to the Keys to Sound Action video presentations. You can watch each video through a shareable link that can be accessed using a computer, laptop, tablet, or hand-held device connected to the internet.
These short videos can be incorporated into regular planning official's meetings to create ongoing training opportunities. We recommend viewing the videos in a group setting for the development of group perspectives on commission workings and the incorporation of continued dialog through shared experiences.
