Professional Biography

Akshali Gandhi is a Transportation Planner for King County Metro's Connecting to Transit program. In her role, she focuses on parking policy, mobility hubs, and access to transit in the greater Seattle region. Prior to Metro, Akshali was a consultant for Nelson\Nygaard's Washington, D.C. office and a planner for the City of Pittsburgh, PA. Akshali holds a Bachelor's Degree in Community & Regional Planning from Iowa State University and a Master's of Regional Planning from Cornell University. She is passionate about pedestrian safety, economic development, and urban mobility and is excited to explore her new home in the Pacific Northwest.
