Housing Equity and Healthy Housing Choices: 2014 AICP Symposium

Housing — or the lack of it — can affect individual and public health in a number of ways, from expanding or limiting access to jobs to influencing family and social cohesion. The 2014 AICP Symposium explored emerging policy, planning, and funding strategies that promote equitable housing options in urban neighborhoods. Case studies highlighted innovative approaches at the local, regional, and national levels.
